Your plan stays in your browser.
One Good Plate is a static dinner planner. It has no account system or application database, and it does not automatically send your plan, ingredient ticks, cooked flags, feedback or local usage history to a server.
What the tool saves locally
The planner uses localStorage under one-good-plate.v1 to save your preferences, plan, ingredient ticks, cooked flags, feedback and the latest 200 local usage events. Those events include actions such as opening the page, building a plan, swapping a meal or exporting a file. They are not sent to an analytics service.
If saved data is unreadable, the tool may keep its original text under one-good-plate.v1.recovery. An existing recovery copy is not overwritten. If a recovery copy cannot be saved, the tool leaves the original stored text unchanged and keeps new changes in memory for that page session.
Storage is specific to this browser and site origin. It is not encrypted by this application or synced across devices. Anyone who can use the same browser profile may be able to access it. Browser settings or clearing site data may erase it.
Downloads happen only when you choose them
The plan download contains your current recipes and shopping list. The feedback download contains your feedback, recent local usage events, current plan summary and any retained recovery text. Files are generated in your browser. They are not automatically uploaded or emailed. You decide whether to keep or share them; avoid entering personal or sensitive information in feedback.
What static hosting receives
Opening any web page requires an HTTP request to its hosting provider. Our static hosting provider, Cloudflare Pages, necessarily receives request information such as your IP address, requested URL, request time and browser headers, and may process service or security logs under its own policies. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. This application does not set the provider’s log-retention period.
The application includes no analytics SDK, tracking pixel, advertising script, third-party font or application tracking cookie. The static meal-plan articles and this privacy page run without JavaScript and do not write the planner’s localStorage records.
Delete your local data
On the planner, use “Clear this browser’s data” and confirm. This removes the app’s main and recovery storage keys when browser storage is accessible. You can also clear site data in your browser settings. Downloaded files are separate; delete them from your device yourself. Clearing browser data does not erase hosting-provider request logs or files you have already shared.
Feedback and contact
The feedback form saves to this browser only. Download your feedback file if you want a copy; submitting the form does not deliver it to the site operator.
